Irn Bru Scottish Third Division 2010 - 2011
The Third Division is the fourth tier of Scottish football, where attendances average a mere 490. There is no relegation from this division although there are persistent demands for a pyramid structure to be introduced. Until this becomes a reality, the only prospect for ambitious non-league teams like Spartans and Gala Fairydean is for one of the existing SFL members to go out of business.

Clyde finished last in Division Two last season and find themselves back in the basement. Joma, a Spanish sportswear firm with a reputation for good design, replace Surridge as the Bully Wee's kit partner. The home strip is the latest of their templates in traditional colours while a very smart violet and white outfit appears as the change kit.

For the second season in succession, the Shire were involved in the play-offs last season. In May the club's vice-chairman, Spencer Fearn whose investment had kept the club alive, resigned and as a result their modest budget for playing staff has been halved.
Hoops make a welcome return after repeated requests from supporters.
The team wore last season's black strip in their opening game against Stranraer in the Alba Cup, probably because their new strips had not arrived.
