NIFL Premiership 2014 - 2015
The NIFL Premiership is the top-level competition in Northern Ireland made up of semi-professional clubs.
The league winners qualify for the Champions' League while the teams finishing second and third go into the Europa League. A third Europa League place goes to the winner of the Irish Cup.
Ards were relegated after one season back in the top flight and replaced by Championship 1 winners, Institute. The relegation play off did not take place because the Championship runners-up, Bangor, do not possess a licence to play in the top level. The rules have now been changed and the highest placed team with a licence finishing in the top six will in future contest the play-off.

Glentoran had a modest 2013-14 season, finishing fifth. Fans vote to choose their new strips, which are rotated every two seasons, from shortlists. This season it is the change strip that is replaced.
The special kit was commissioned to mark the centenary of Glentoran's victory in the 1914 Vienna Cup, an early international club tournament that was played just once due to the outbreak of the First World War. It was worn once against Balleymena United and no replicas were made.

Linfield finished as runners-up last season and beat B36 Tórshavn (Faroe Islands) before being narrowly beaten by AIK Athens in the Europa League second qualifying round. They have a new first strip which has been worn without sponsorship in pre-season and European games.

The Ports finished fourth last season. The first choice kit is all-red, as usual and now complemented by a light blue alternative, both in Uhlsport's new design.

Warrenpoint finished next to last but retain their place in the Premiership because Bangor, who finished as runners-up in Championship One, do not have a licence to play in the top tier. They have updated their strips but they are in the same colours as last season.
