FIFA World Cup 1970 Knock Out Stages
The knock out phase featured some classic matches and culminated in Brazil overwhelming Italy in the final to win the World Cup for the third time, allowing them to keep the Jules Rimet Trophy in perpetuity. The 1970 Brazilian team is widely regarded as the finest national side of all time. This was Pelé's last World Cup and he would retire from international football a year later.
