Belgium finished top with three wins but they were made to work hard for it. Finland defended with determination and were saved several times by heroics from their goalkeeper, Hradecky. Lukaku appeared to have broken the deadlock but a late VAR check revealed he had been offside by the length of his big toe. In the 74th minute Vermaelen's header bounced off the post and went in off Hradecky's hand for a very unfortunate own goal. Lukaku finished the game off with a second goal seven minutes later.
